Band Biography

The mighty yak has been performing for over five years now, mostly in and around Wagga Wagga but also all over New South Wales. The early days were spent playing mostly pub gigs, though it wasn’t long before the band started to diversify its services, delivering professional entertainment for clients at weddings, corporate functions and all sorts of private parties.

Progressively, the band began to get more and more bookings until virtually every possible date in the year was becoming booked out. The band has supported many charities and charity events over the years featuring many times at local events like the relay for life fundraiser and Victorian bushfires relief concert ‘bushfire bash’ at the Wagga Wagga music bowl.

The band has undergone a few personnel changes, namely the replacement of Brad Moss as lead vocalist by Mark Atkinson. Mark is somewhat of a local celebrity having performed in many productions. Mark is an excellent entertainer, extremely popular character and is known for bringing life to any party.

The Mighty Yak continues to deliver high-quality professional entertainment and is always looking for ways to make the client’s event everything it possibly can be.
